Hey folks. I've been wondering over the cold days of winter - what does it take to Marshal or even volunteer at track and race days at Ontario tracks?
I did some light poking around online and note the CRCA now has a specific training course required to marshal at any of its sanctioned events, but what of some of the more amateur events? Are there opportunities to volunteer for some of these duties on general track days?
I'm hoping to take this year to at least introduce myself to the world of track riding and racing. Having just signed up for the intro package with Racer5, I was just curious as to how else I can participate without busting the bank. Riding at the track is the end-game, but sheer will can only afford so much. Anything else would be great.
