I recently picked up a 2009 Ninja 250r, and last night i was draining the carbs/pulling the battery so that I could put it on a tender, and I foudn somethign unusual (to me) connected to the battery terminals. Usually theres one positive wire, and one negative wire..but I found two wires goign to each terminal. 2 negatives, two positives. Could this be aftermarket wiring done by the previous owner? (heated grips or something?)

Could it be connected to this? (no clue what this is)

Looks like the connector for a battery tender was already attached to the battery. You can see there's a fuse on the Positive Terminal.

Essentially, this lets you hook up the Battery Tender to the battery without having to remove it out of the bike, simply connect to the black connector cable in your last pic.

Oh wow thanks! I remember now that my battery tender came with a bunch of wires, one of them probably fit onto it.
BTW mods, I intended on posting this thread in the technical forum, please feel free to move it there.
