Twisties

I haven't been there yet, but a bud who's parents live up North said it would be amazing for riding. I'm gonna try and hit it some weekend before this season is done.

It's nothing special.. And often traffic in the area

Rodney,

Dont fall for this trap that they have set for you .. Foxfire Chase was the scene for a major heat score last year due to "retards" riding through there every Sunday like they are on the MOTO Gp
Grid.

If you plan on riding that road continously, and a rate of speed posted .. plan on having the police greet you at either end or your house.

Yep. Speed limit is 50 kph, there are many people out walking their dogs, well-healed folks with cell phones programmed for Durham Regional Police. DRP will be on you like flies on crap and they'll have the helpful cell phone video of all the neighbours just in case they want it.

Doesn't stop the Sunday morning morons with the straight pipes but it seems to put a crimp in the sport bikes pretty regularly.

Better to get in closer to the lakes where they either have to curve the road or fill in the lake.

Hopefully the cottagers are sleeping in on the weekend.

Sunday 10:40 pm........ well ????????

Hwy 118 from Haliburton to Hwy 11 is a nice ride.

Mid week in the morning and that whole stretch of road is basically yours! I take it to the cottage in fort Irwin. Careful around the houses just after you cross the black river as there is an old geezer who lives around there and thinks they are a radar gun for the police. I've been pulled over twice and "warned" that I had been reported by someone, Both times about 5 mins after I passed the river.

However what you really need to watch for are the unpredictable critters that run out in front of you. This time of the year I see more animals on that road then I do in the zoo.

Other then that the road is in amazing shape and allows for fast long corners.

I have been pulled over on HWY118 more then I can count so be carefull on speed for sure. On the other side of things i have never received a ticket just a stern warning. To the people who say why not just run well the first time ever I was met by a cop stopped across both lanes that was coming the other way...lol. It is a great road just be weary of OPP.
