went for my first ride yesterday, went thru a tunnel and just fell in love with the sound.

where are the best tunnels? I want more tunnelssss!!!! lol

There are a few under the Welland Canal in Niagara, the longest is in Thorold, but also has police waiting for you at the end sometimes.

I went through there YEARS ago (feels like a lifetime ago), sadly in a car though.

The most memorable tunnel I've been through is the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel as a child. It's a 20 mile stretch of bridges+tunnels that "connects Virginia's eastern shore with the Virginia mainland" [source: http://www.cbbt.com/]. I'd love to go back there on the bike.

You know what tunnel sucks? The one from France to Italy. Speed cameras. All up in that ****.
