Every time I come to Toronto, part or all of the subway shuts down, sorry.

Ah its winter. You either have 1/4 of TTC bus service or the one that do run - always running with "Sorry out of service".

Ah the TTC something I have not needed in 30+ years and will never need.
I don't think I'd even know how to use public transit anymore...

I think the TTC has been at low service levels on weekends for the whole year

Just got home to Ottawa . Had a nice nine and a half hour tour of plowed and unplowed roads in Ontario, including the 509. Started on the 401, which closed due to a collision. Then county roads to the 7. Accident on 7. Closed. Took the google maps detour to another accident, turned around and up the 509 to Robertsville, another blockage. Then back down to the 401 and up the 416.

Note: There was a really nice local standing in the snow telling people not to take the 7 detour, and giving directions.

I was coming back from London several years ago and they had closed the 401 near Woodstock IIRC. An OPP officer was at the top of the exit lane directing people to turn right to the detour. For some reason he told me to turn left, maybe it was pity, but I got the short route through town.

I was told that a lot of "Maintenance" was scaping body parts off the train and tracks. Mentioning the "S" word encourages others. Take away guns and people use trains and bridges.

They recently "increased service levels" on line 2, adding more trains... well it now takes longer to get downtown as the trains are constantly stopping in the tunnels waiting for the train in front of them. Or worse yet you get a short turn and everyone gets dumped off at a station to wait for the next train.

I would rather wait a little longer on the platform...
