Triumph Sprint ST 1050

I have a 2009 ST ABS Great all round Sport touring bike.If you like the sport side of things this bike is for you, added bonus comes with hard bags for the longer runs :)

I almost traded her in last month, after hitting a Moose on the Cabot trail.I took it into GPBikes asked what I would get for it as is..they then asked me to pick another bike....guess what? I could'nt find something in the price range of my Sprint that offered the same all around performance and touring capabilities.
Just got her back and went for a rip up the 507 today...One happy ST Owner :)

I need to get more info on ins..as I'm paying $1500 yr??? Anyone have some info?

When your auto insurance company is giving you bike insurance as a "courtesy to existing policy holders", you're getting screwed. Shop around. The insurance section here has several companies listed. Some advertise on this site, such as John Duffy brokers. I'm insured by Jevco via Duffy and the rates are far better than my auto insurance company would provide.

I guess I'm the exception to this rule, as my bike insurance is provided as a courtesy. Try Economical ... my rate is peanuts on an '09 ST ABS. Weird thing is, they blacklist the RS.

Hey Alex straight up trade ;)

I looked at the Sprint and the VFR before I got my SV. In hind sight I should have held out for a Sprint. My problem was my SV1000S came up for sale with 4000km's on it at under 5G, so I couldn't pass it up. Plus the insurance was less. I like the hard bags on both VFR and Sprint, but the Sprint has it on looks. I'm running soft saddle bags which I am happy with but not the ultimate. Let us know which you choose. P.S. Sprint prices are much cheaper in the US and it's easy to import to Canada.
