The toy haluler is on Vactaion any other options on getting a bike from Kitchener to Brampton? Would like to do this ASAP. The rider can't plate or incure it b/c he only has his M1

Get CAA plus (Around $100), use 1 tow and have 3 left for the year.

CAA policy is that, it will tow a bike/car only if its plated and registered in Ontario. They aren't a moving service - they are an emergency towing service.

True, You could rent a U-haul pick-up truck and load it in the back.

MotoLimo, but this could be expensive. Of course, U-haul trailer is the cheapest option if you have car/truck with the hitch.

Thanks. He's going with U-Haul, I didn't realize how cheap they were $14-30 dpending on traler size.

Go to Canadian Tire, get a set of ratchet straps (they are usually on sale). I'd also suggest Canyon Dancer strap for the front (bluestreakracing has one - http://www.bluestreakracing.ca/en/b...na/motorcycle_tie_downs/canyon_dancer_11.html). Dancer in the front, 2 straps in the back, compress the suspension about half way, and your bike will never move. Or if you get a trailer with the choke you might not even need the 'dancer' - just the straps?

Too bad it wasn't last week, I was bored and had the trailer empty and ready to go.

For strapping the street bike, I have a strap that is about 12" long with a loop on each end. I wrap that around the lower triple clamp, one on each side and then attach my ratchet strap to that. No chaffing, no worrying about the hook slipping off and makes it easier. I also use one on the bars of the MX bike to keep the bars in good shape. Same thing on my sled
