Towing a Motorcycle WITH a Motorcycle

It'll fit in a duffel bag...won't be able to lift it easily though lol...I love this idea, as well but when I did some more research it's highly recommended against my car (Genesis Coupe 3.8 ) towing anything behind it:( A 140lb trailer and a CBR250R doesn't add up to much weight...I may be overly paranoid about it but not sure.

I'm not a mechanic.. but I don't think you would have any problems towing a CBR250 on a 140lb trailer behind your car.. any bike for that matter..

Don't have to worry at all. I've towed ~2000 lbs plus 4 and 5 people a couple times on my MS3 and Mazda doesn't recommend any towing, either. The weight you listed, especially if you are alone in the car, would be just like having a couple passengers. Even less stress on the car, as a trailer doesn't weigh on your suspension as much.

Hey OJ, was that you going west on 401 by the 400 this morning around 6:40 AM? I almost twisted my neck while riding my bike when I saw a VMax pulling a trailer with a red bike on it.

I am guessing that was me, Time would have been right and I don't know anyone else with a Vmax who tows bikes! LOL

Rolled pretty fast, made the trip in just under 4 hours! Can you say flying!

Just saw this now.lol My jaw dropped when he was going around the course set up with his trailer. You rock Dave!!!

Where you on 401 east bound yesterday at 6pm range. I swear I saw a motorcycle towing another which was rather entertaining but quite enjoyed the sight.

Yes, by 6:00 I might have been just east of Toronto headed back to Watertown.

Apparently not THAT easy ... :o

Taken today after the Sharp Rider Level 1 session. Will have to see about Jen getting a few good shots of you tomorrow. ;)

Did you practice emergency braking at speed? I wouldn't take infernobuster's comment too lightly. It's not braking power that is the main concern, but stability.

Yes I have and so did a student in the class who was an a yamaha Towing a Camper. I know my limits on that bike as well, as it is my fourth Vmax and I have logged over 100,000 miles on maxes alone. But if you do not practice or try it how do you know what you can do or your limits, you are limited by your own fear.
