Toronto to Virginia beach

When I went to Miami last year, I was advised to take US 219 & similar country roads all the way down to the entrance of the Shenandoah National Park at Front Royal, VA and to get off of the Blue Ridge Parkway at Roanoke, VA, which happens to fall on the same parallel with Virginia Beach for you =)

I gota say, I don't have the knowledge of "the greatest roads" in these states at all, but the route that I took was already the best roads I ever got to see, by far. So, I will feel free to suggest that you can see them as well.

So, on the map, the route would look something like this:

(edit: nevermind this part, link coming soon)

Niagara to Front Royal could be day 1, depending on how fast you escape the borders. And Front Royal to Roanoke would be Day 2, nice and slow =) Roanoke to final destination would be half a day on day 3.

I like the 3 day fun ride, I have 8 days to the trip, I prefer the journey more than the destination

That was exactly my thinking too.

I went to Miami in 4days/4000kms, and I was supposed to stay there only 2days/1night, but my clutch cable snapped at traffic lights right when I was 10kms from final destination in South Beach at midnight on a long weekend Friday =) I had to wait for the shops to open on Tuesday to get the bike fixed, then came back in 3days. So, I planned 4 + 2 + 3, but ended up 4 + 4 + 3 =)

Sounds like an awesome ride though, minus the clutch cable snapping...
