Too Many Threads On The Same Topic

Should the next person who posts a thread about chain maintenance be banned?

How about the next person that complains about others not conducting themselves as others feel they should?

I agree! Quite frankly, I don't understand why if the title of a thread is of no interest to someone, just simply ignore it?

Also, I've always had issues using the search feature here.
 
If you start banning people for posting the same stuff over we're all gonna be banned. In the 10+ years this site has been up pretty much every topic has been covered at some point or another.

Actually if you SEARCH you'll find several threads just like yours where people complain about this exact same thing. Should YOU be banned? ;)
 
I'm a newbie here myself, but have been a mod for a long time on a car forum.
Same thing there, newbies get into it and ask the same questions the previous newbs did.
I agree with the last two posters.

(Used to be a board joke on a video game forum i used to frequent)
 
There should be some stats somewhere about the threads here on GTAM .. but its usually the following..

* the "Wave" thread
* where to save $5 getting tires changed..
* bike got stolen from condo
* venting against cagers / close call
* Ninja 200/300s
* winterizing bike
* burrito boyz meetup
* where to get a cert from/how to get bike home

and god forbid if a female joins and posts a picture.. all hell breaks loose

My bike has 2.0 km, the guy that sold it to me said he lubes the chain every .5 km, is my chain going to explode? help me Obi Wan Kanobi, you are my only hope
