They ARE doing a trackday thanksgiving weekend if it doesn't snow, just FYI ;)

I managed to free my Saturday, so I'll be there, yeah! *very happy*

Most probably my last trackday of the year, so I'm going ALL OR NOTHING! The only way I can possibly challenge YellowDuck's lap records! :D

So, Mr. hpvchewy, don't forget the exo-400 visors! I'll probably need them ;)

Hahaha. You know what I say: WIN IT OR BIN IT! Or, "You can't win on the first lap, but you damn sure can lose!" haha.

You wanted a new bike next year anyway, go for a lap record or bring it home in pieces, save you having to try and sell it to all the retards on Kijiji.

I'll dig out the visors and get em ready for ya. Remind me on friday plz, text 289-600-9937.

My neighbour was going to throw out some MR12 because he crashed and won't be doing any more days this year (I guess it doesn't keep good over the winter) so I've got a tankfull ready to rip. HOLD ME BACK! Gosh I hope that RSV4 guy is there :D

1:16 Orlin or retire!

If I set my start/finish on the timer at the end of turn 1, just after the turn-in point, and then do a lap and never apply brakes and blast through the time marker at 260km/h, how many seconds is that gonna win me? And do we get any trophies for winning a trackday? Maybe a shiny new coffin in the shape of a gas tank or something? ;)

I'm worried about me, don't care about the bike. Well, I do, but not so much, lol :)

You shall be receiving a text from me Fri night!

Do you need to do some tuning for running the MR12? I'd think the bike will run worse on it if the engine is not built and/or tuned for it?!

Try to get airborne over the berm. All the cool kids are doing it.

Sounds good :)

I got a map for my PCV that's tuned for the MR12, but it was based on stock timing, stock throttle restrictions/ecu and two skinny gaskets so higher compression. With my +3 degrees of ignition timing it might not be great for straight MR12, and they sent me an AFR map for my AutoTune so it'll self tune with my unrestricted throttle/ECU. We'll see how it goes :)

MR12 is going to eat up your 02 sensor if your using it. I took mine out to run MR12....You can tune with it then remove it, but if you leave it in then it will deteriorate it

Another thing you mentioned having some left over from someone, the reason he wont keep it is because it looses it power making capabilities once you open the jug. its and oxygenated fuel so from the moment you open the seal on the can it starts releasing its potency, the longer you keep it the weaker it gets....And make sure you drain your bike after each time using it, and flush with regular pump gas, or it will eat away your bikes fuel system, tank, pump, injectors, etc etc.....I try not to leave it in the bike for more then a few hours after I get back from the track.....

The power gain on a stock bike with no tuning is very noticeable, heck you can hear it out there.....The bike pulls much harder and always feels like its in the power....Tuning will make it even better, but is not required to run it...My bike runs great on the stock mapping with a full system at the moment, although I like using it so much I will be having a custom map made specifically to run it...

Was chatting with Gary Christie yesterday at Shanny, and he mentioned his son loved the MR12 when they were aloud to run it

Thanks for all the great info :)

His "left over" is a sealed 5 gallon jug (never opened) with the threaded top part for the easy pour spout so it should be "full potency" haha :) I drained my bike completely empty so she'll be ready to rock 100% MR12 :D

Do you think my O2 sensor would last a whole tank of MR12? I like your idea of tuning it then removing it, maybe I'll do one session with the O2 sensor then pull it out. Must remember to bring my O2 plug!

My friend said his map should be 95% perfect for my bike, he just wasn't sure if the ignition advance on my bike would cause detonation or other problems with MR12 (he only runs power commander on his bike, no ignition module, so it was set up for stock engine timing).

Once my fuel light comes on I'll come in and fill her up with Shell 91 then finish off the last session or two of the day, shouldn't need to drain out the last bit of MR12 before filling it with Shell 91 would I?

Thanks again for the great info! Can't wait to try it out!!! :D

(P.S. My friend is trying to get his insurance company to release his crashed bike to your shop, no luck so far but hopefully they'll tow it to your place tomorrow. He's hoping to get it ready for this track day, basically I think it needs new crush washers on the right caliper banjo/line as it seemed to be leaking from there, no front brake pressure at all. Also check the forks, make sure they are good and the triple are in line, etc. Thanks!)

True Johnny.

I've been dealing with a bunch of retards... Severity retard people! Lol

It was supposed to be dispatched this past Monday.

Talked to the guy today and he is going to tow it to you in the morning....

I hope you can help me out on this one!!!

Oh, dont worry about those temps levers! Lol

On the stock map the MR12 seems to run really rich in my bike, I burn it so fast, I can burn 3/4 of a tank in one session if Im on it hard....Just try to get as much of it out of the bike as possible after using it, even when you do the bike will stink like race fuel! I have no sense of smell anymore so it doesn't bother me but everyone that comes into my shop complains that it stinks so bad it makes them light headed...LOL Ive burnt 4 pails of it so far and Im loving the stuff......

A while ago on here someone posted about a spark plug snapping in the head, he took that bike to Pro6....Ryan said that he had to take the head off to fix it, and he said that he believes that the cause was someone left race fuel in the bike....It corroded the plating on the plugs and caused them to seize in the head. So he also recommends putting anti sieze on the threads of your plugs. As it also eats away at plugs

They just dropped it off not too long ago, it is not as bad as he was thinking....The worst part is the bent frame slider bolt, that is going to take the most time to remove without damaging his frame/engine.....Other then that , gauges are missing, someone took the clutch lever off and put it on backwards WTF?, Also the stock exhaust is barely hanging onto the bike, handle bar/bars or possibly triple looks bent, ram air/gauge stay exploded, and obviously %90 of the fairings are trashed...All that said the bikes chassis and engine are good to go, and I dont think he even bent a wheel or rearset. So the bike is very fixable
