I have a canopy so I am good with shade.

If anyone needs any extra shade GT42R has an umbrella to hide under. You have to be prepared to be around a sexy blonde in a micro bikini all day though. Also be ready to have everyone staring all day!

Going to be there Saturday, and Sunday. Super excited. The weathers going to be great too from the reports i seen. No place on earth I would rather be.

EDIT: on a second thought, I think we already met on that Thursday that was cancelled due to rain a few weeks ago. Were you the guy who rode to the track in the rain with the brand new 636? Well, stop by anyway :)

I am that guy. but for sure I will stop by, look forward to it :). I have been waiting 2 weeks for this weekend to come. Last time I barely slept the night before I was so excited, hopefully I get some sleep tonight.
 
I might even go Monday just to watch. Its awesome just being there watching the bikes go by on the wall. On the 21st It was the first time I ever seen an aprillia rsv4 in person. That bike got the blood pumping. I also loved seeing a ktm super motard on the track, really cool. All the different bikes, the smell, great atmosphere, that's like heaven for me. Another neat bike that stood out was the Castrol rc51. Wow that was cool to see in person.

I had the same problem until recently---the night before couldn't sleep at all, my mind was racing the track non-stop. I adopted a new technique the night before the last time I was at the track---found out it helps to think about work and the problems in there. Slept like a baby! :D
 
That's a good tactic. I bought a go pro but last time I set it up wrong because I never really read the online instructions hahaha so the only thing I got was a picture of me setting up the camera 7 times lol. But now I know it has to be flashing when its recording so hopefully I get some good video so I can break it down and start really working on things. Also a guy took some pictures of me and that was helpful as well. Practice makes you better every time right. Hopefully its the last weekend I am running my road fresh bike. Working hard to get the old 7r setup as fast as possible.
 
Saturday was great, as usual Guys With Bikes ran a fantastic track-day. Two groups, lots of seat time. Well, not for me, for some reason I was getting exhausted after just a few laps each session, I was always the last to go in and the first to exit the track, lol.. Being wise and all, I called it a day after the first session after lunch.

I tried to make a video of the slow group so people can see themselves, but it turned out too small:

Here are a couple of laps of my own, I seem to be stuck at around the 1:24 mark and never able to see the 1:23 as I can't ever put in a perfect lap where all lines are good. I'll try different gearing on Thursday to make me shift more and make me more aggressive.

Is it possible to buy spectator ticket for the road coarse to watch the bikes? Or only for drag

what happened to the rider with the 1000rr repsol honda fairings? I saw his bike on the back of the pickup, it looked okay-ish. The guy was in shiny new leathers too.
