Tires for a 2007 Yamaha FZ6

Looking to get tires for my bike its a sport tourer.

I've looked at the following options:

BT023
RoadSmarts
SportMax Q2
Pilot Road 2
Pilot Road 3
Angel ST

The Q2's I believe are sport tires not sport touring tires. Just wondering what affect this will have if I put sport tires on a sport touring bike?..anything at all?
 
Q2's are great for agressive riding, but not for a commuter (mileage), hate the BT23's personally.
 
Had an FZ6 with the 023, they were alright. Good lifespan, not great in the wet. Put the Q2s on later, great track tire.
 
Bro, get some Conti Road Attack 2's!!

I got them on my VFR800 and they're amazing!
 
Had the 023's on the last bike (CBR F4) didn't have any complaints wore much better then the 016's I had. On the new bike I am putting the Q2's on it strictly due to cost. Interesting to see how they work out!
 
i run pilot road 2's on my fz6. i get about 25,000km on a set. they have great grip. you can not out ride the tire on the street.
 
I have been dragging footpegs on my 023s for over 13,000 kms and they are less than half worn out.
 
Roadsmarts are probably the "sportiest" of the sport-touring tires.
I have them on my VFR now after 2 sets of BT 021 and like them very much. 10K on them and wearing out evenly.
I hear the Roadsmarts 2 are even better.
