Tire mounting areas?

I bought am26 online and i'm wondering where people with spoked wheels go to get their tires mounted and how much they pay?

I'm willing to as far as west as mrs.sauga and as east as whitby depending on the price and distance.

I got 3.25-19 and 4.00-18 am26 tires to go on a 1974 cb550 tubed.

Every place has mixed reviews. But if you go there this Saturday you will be waiting in line to get your tires installed.

IMO: Places that suck dont stay in business and dont have line ups of repeat customers. Ted has been around forever. He is a good and fair mechanic. He has peculiar personality, but it just adds to the quirkiness of his shop.

Ted is a great guy and some guys praise his work, however if you are the type of person who likes to keep their bike clean and gets annoyed by any scratches you might want to go somewhere else.

He has a lot of repeat customers because not everyone likes to see a reflection of themselves in their rims. For those that do however this isn't the shop to visit or you'll have mental break down :lmao:

So ballpark for mounting tires 25-40 per tire. What's the ballpark for tires that are still on the bike?

I was at Ted's place on Saturday. It was cold and only a few people were there. Ted sent away one guy waiting for a tire change to Country Style and gave him money to buy everyone waiting a coffee and a doughnut

Sure fire sign of a terrible shop.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Ted is a great guy, I believe he's perfect for most of us who own a used bike. Quick, reliable, met me at his shop at 8:30 Saturday night last year to safety my bike. He actually tries to HELP his customers. But looking at his yard and shop, I do understand why guys on high end bikes don't want to go there.

The way people talk about that poor guy here, I totally visualize a shambling hobo who hears voices telling him to put Harley parts on a Ducati because it is Tuesday today.

And to celebrate this, behold!!
