How many kms do you tour every year?
I've got 32,000km on a 2010 Ninja 250 that I purchased early Aug 2010. I put a lot of miles on my bike.

what do you do if you have to wear glasses to see? pay a ton of money for RX sunglasses??
I was talking to a dealer the other day and a new photochromic visor insert is coming out soon. Something like a pinlock type device. There's also a new electronic LCD product that will darken on command too. I'm interested in these kinds of things because I usually go through tinted visor each season and I'm not a fan of carrying two visors around.
An IS-16? I have one of those...and a shark evoline too. The pull down visors are handy but i like the full range of vision with a tinted lens and I think the pull down lens affects optics a little too.
Doubtful. It wouldn't justify the cost and a lot of people get visors for their look.
They are not that expensive $40ish. Bell helmets have that option. Saw them in the new GP bike cataloge
Have you guys tried to clean the lens with that velvet cloth you use for sun glases?
I looked up a few on google and it said 120 for a shield. that seems like a lot for a visor.

I also have the is-16 and never had a problem with optics
What about if you have prescription glasses with "Transitions" type lenses?
Will they go dark with the dark visor or remain clear?
I currently have a dark visor and wear regular glasses but would like my next pair to be photochromic but I'd like to know first if they'd stay clear behind a dark visor.
