The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Hey George,

This ride is a medium/fast paced ride so I would say no, it is not really newbie friendly. I would recommend keeping an eye out for Medium or Cruise paced rides. That being said, we always wait for people at turns/stops so if you want to tag along, you are more than welcome too. Regardless of posted pace, you should never ride above your comfort level to try to "keep up"; it's a quick way for things to go south.

ah too much for me

Keep an eye on this thread.
Several of us post of nice easy paced rides that are newbie friendly.
Just took 2 newbs and a newb+ to Hockley Valley today. Was good fun!

Great little ride tonight, feels good to be back on my bike :)
Great route and good-enough weather, wings at St. Louis were delicious too!

Don’t know what you’re talking about.
As for the ride, my bike is still in the shop. Was hoping to have it back for the weekend, but here we are.

The road out to Conestoga Lake and the road that crosses the dam are fun.
Middlebrook Line between West Montrose and Elora
Back way into Hawkesville that runs beside the river
Maryhill Road
Sprague Road between Cambridge and Paris

That's a good start.

I have been exploring Cambridge this week......

1) Mon -> Cambridge -> Followed Glen Morris and wound up in Paris
2) Wed -> Saw a big group of bikers at a place called Keleher's (in Preston)

I will find Sprague Road next

Well, if you ended up in Glen Morris you were also very close to Scenic Drive. Very nice. But do it once each way and leave.
The houses there are all multi million dollar homes and they've got a hotline to the police for noise disturbances and "enthusiastic" motorcyclists.
Probably the twistiest road in the KW area that I can think of.

Might do a 2 Up ride early Monday afternoon.. Not sure where as of yet.

Hi everyone, I haven't been here for a long time. BigEvilDoer may remember me. I'm looking for people to ride with again. Anyone riding today?
