Anyone else heading out this early please be aware that there's still TONS of sand and crap on the roads from winter...
 
Season opener was great; a little cooler than expected and the route also was a touch longer than intended!

Short notice, but for anyone craving an after-work ride:

Date: Monday, April 22
Time: 5, kickstands up 15 mins later (Have gas!)
Location: Regular Tims (120 Ottawa St N.)
Route/Duration: Conestoga Dam, 2 hours
Pace: Medium; nothing too crazy as roads are still iffy

See you all out there; hope to see a bunch of new faces!
 
So we hosted a little ride yesterday as well; I was secretly hoping no one would show so I could go home but crazies still came out. Had some fun out in the (partial) rain! Weather looks pretty poor over the next few days...

This weekend looks quite nice... Let's see if the Hockley General Store is still there!

Route/Duration: Hockley Valley (~3 hours)
Pace: Spirited in some sections

Ganaraska Forest was awesome today...
Almost no dust, small sections of mud but mostly all dry.
Had a bunch of fallen trees that had big orange warning signs on them to ensure you don't smash your melon off them...
Super sunny, perfect temperatures too.

And now, tomorrow, I'm gonna wish I was dead. Can feel the muscles stiffening up already!
