Nick Reiner, son of Hollywood director Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, has been arrested and booked into jail in Los Angeles County after his parents were found dead at their home in Los Angeles.
Nick, 32, was arrested late Sunday evening and booked into jail on Monday, according to online jail records.
The Los Angeles Police Department has not formally announced Nick's arrest but online jail records show he is being held on US$4-million bail.
Nick is booked on suspicion of murder, according to the Los Angeles Times.

All I've heard so far about Rob Reiner from Hollywood is positive. The scuttlebutt is his son did it. If he did, the "Why" is going to be the #1 question and speculation will be rampant.

His son has been arrested. It's been suggested he has had mental health and drug issues for quite some time.
But you're right, it's all speculation until it comes out at trial. Tragedy of the highest order.

Rob Reiner , imo, inherited an immense talent from his dad . He made great films , some legitimate classics . Spinal Tap is so whacky it’s a cult classic and Princess Bride has everything a family film needs to be brilliant.
I’ll miss his work .

What a legacy he has left. All In The Family was ground breaking and he was just getting started. This scene from From Spinal Tap is absolutely brilliant. I still get a laugh watching it.

Rob and Nick made a movie based on Nick about a privileged kid addicted to drugs and the life it leads and impact is has on all involved.

This is a family tragedy.
