Wednesday I was heading west on Eglington in the cage and came to a stop in the curb lane. To my left was a snub nose cube van stopped well over the stop line.
The light turned green and just as I started to accelerate three giggling teen princesses emerged from out of sight into my path. I hit the brakes and no harm done. Enjoy our nanny state.
There are rarely tickets given to bad pedestrians. If you hit a pedestrian who is breaking the law, chances are your insurance will pay out even if you are 100% faultless.
