Taichi textile jackets any good ?

Looking to pickup jacket for colder weather riding, pretty much spring and fall, I have A* GP Plus R Perforated Leather for summer and warmer days.
Tried A* cold weather jackets but their high collars are really tight, like on Gunner for example, not working for me.
Are Taichi Textile jackets any good ? I see they have armor in them and liners, but the material is what gets me confused, not sure if Nylon would b any good in a crash.
 
I had a mesh textile one that was pretty decent for material quality and armour. I sold it only because it was blue and I no longer had a blue bike.

You could also look into Olympia and First Gear - they make some pretty decent and reasonably priced textile 3 season
 
I have an rs taichi mesh jacket. It is not for cold weather, in my opinion. It doesn't do much to keep me warm. The minimum for a 15 celsius day would be a hoodie underneath
