Yea, it's nice out here. I love the fact that in a few minutes I'm on country roads, but the 401, 404, 407, 7 and other highways are close. I used to live in heart on Toronto (St. Clair and Bathurst) and I know how long it can take to just break out of the city.

I saw all of two bikes out. One was my next door neighbor. I can see now why some people choose to live way out in the boonies. Nice twisty roads, generous speed limits, and no competition for the space. :)

 So then where were you?

Most riders up there have 1/2 hour minimum to get there and choose it as there are some decent roads on the way.

It's a jump off for rides further north to Hockley and TN and Beaver Valley and there are dozens of serious bicyclists every day as well.

Funny how your "posers" bother to go all that distance.....

Did you ride both curves near the symposium?:lmao:;);)
It's much too far and much too straight for my liking, I just stuck to the local roads, and found a new to me traffic circle.

Wow, a whole half hour. That's hardcore.
If you spend more time hanging around a third-rate coffee shack than it took to ride there, it's posing. And from what I saw in the 10 minutes I was there (15 if you count the 5 minutes it took for the fat chick behind the counter to stop gossipping and actually do her job), a lot of those people were setting up camp.
Hey, whatever floats your boat, but spending hours hanging around Belfountain - or anywhere - on one of the few nice days left just doesn't do it for me.
And who gives a **** about the bicyclists?

as for the scooter comment- - puerile hardly covers it....usually indicative of a self image issue...failure to mature.

Thought so - ****ing noob.....should learn when to STFU

start with learning some manners.....

LoL...
Yup, this is my first season riding and I have learned/will learn a lot from many people here.
Why are you so mad man?... You ride a scooter, you care about bicyclists... What's wrong with that?
Did I say something that was out of line?

lol grown ups being kids....Anyways would have to agree me a few friends headed out at around 11am from Barrie North for a nice 400km tour. Temperature could not have been better and traffic was sure light everywhere.

I only rode around the city for a bit. Bought a new tablet PC at Staples...I guess I'm already gearing up for winter.

On another note, a friend texted me and said he saw the cops chasing a bike down Yonge St. south of Davisville. He said it was flying along and the cops were probably doing 100 just to catch him. This would have been around 4pm yesterday.
