suggestions for a good route to midland ontario?

Last time I was that way there was a lot of construction on 93 beside Orr Lake. That was a few weeks ago..not sure if it has been completed. Might be safer to take 400 up to Waubeshene and then across hwy 12 to Midland.

Might also help to know from where?

Pet peeve #1 lack of initial info. Moped or SS? M-1?, M-2?, M?, Riding style? Scenic or superslab?

I can think of a dozen routes but why waste my time trying to guess.

Why doesn't the OP go to Google maps or get a free paper one from Ontario tourism?

Assuming you are coming from Toronto and looking for an alternate way than the 400/93... http://goo.gl/maps/N839q

I prefer sideroad # 5 to Hwy 400. The stretch along Tiny Beaches Road and the loop through Awenda Park and Champlain Rd are nice and scenic...

If you want to shave a little time off that route instead of left on Flos 11, turn right and it will take you to 27 north of Elmvale, turn left and then ride over to Vasey and then left again at the lights and take 93 north right into Midland.
