No recalls that I know of. High milers can have noisy cam chains but replacing the tensioner is pretty easy. Might just be a DOA battery - 10 years old if it's original. The other thing to look for (because these were owned by a lot of newbies) is to see if the crankcase has been overfilled (oil level checked on the side stand). It might just be hydraulic locked and won't turn over. For $1500 it might be worth taking a look if it interests you.

Crank shaft recall. 2015-16 if they never did it maybe it failed.
Very tempting as a possible fix and flip.
