Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Except they're not used, theyre new non current leftovers.
Still way overpriced.
No problem then because it's a manufacturers warranty not the dealers. You still have the same challenge to prove it was a defect in materials or workmanship unless it is covered under a factory recall.
Add: you better have a warranty registration card to send to the distributor indicating the date of purchase of this new old stock motorcycle.

This is where the dealer is Not doing you any favours to uncrate and dealer prep the bike before it is sold.

... nice golf cart, that thing must make wicked sharp left turns ;)

1987 VT1100 Shadow or only $800. Only needs New frame, forks, triples, fender, gas tank .... and lists it at 220 K on it.

you need to read the ad.

When he had his shoulder replacement they must have accidentally severed his brain stem.

I thought warranty of any of (new) carry over bikes started from the day of the purchase?
They should. The dealer should not register for the warranty until purchase.

Only 2500 km in 9 years, I’d be less concerned if it had 25000 km. But hey it’s woman driven, must be immaculate. Here’s $5k

Lowsided 18 year old monster. Caught fire...

Owners best chance to recoup some money is parting it out... not insanely priced, just crazy risk for its history...

HAHA! These always crack me up!
Not sure about you guys, but have you noticed the market for used bikes has sky rocketed in the last 2-3 years? I look for fun here and there and can't wrap my head around why so many bikes (mainly SS) are going to for so much. I purchased my '09 zx6r last winter for $4800 with 20k (not even the best deal I saw, its just always been a dream bike since the monster edition came out in '09), had all the goodies (exhaust pcv, braided lines etc)...by the looks of how much used bikes are going for now I could sell it for $5200-$5500 including the additional 10k I put on her last season.
Not sure why people think their 10 yearold bikes with 30+km are for some reason worth "so much".
Don't think I'll be looking for another bike any time soon, and if I do it will most likely be new!

Here's another "I financed a new bike before realizing that riding isn't for me" ad.

Easily identified by the "also have helmet and jacket available" line and asking more than they cost new.

These are still listed new at 5299, even with tax won't be much more than this one.

Thats the "bought for my wife, but she doesn't want to ride"

Don't understand how it has 200km on it, but was never plated.
Maybe not by them, - second owner? First that out on the 200km traded it in?
