Stolen scala G4

While I was at Easterbrooks in Burlington at about 6:30. Punks stole my scala from my helmet, just the main unit. The base is still on my helmet.

They were stealing tips from the restaurant as well, but took off back to Hamilton in a blue and white cab.

Police are on the case, but I'm not to hopefully of getting it back.

And it was a fathers day gift from my kids.

So if anyone sees someone selling a scala g4 with no base, let me know.

I usually take my helmet with me, but not this time, figured I wad safe with the bike right in front while I went in to get a hot dog.

That sucks, sorry to hear it....

Not afraid of someone dumping something in your helmet I guess?? I can't leave mine with my bike without a raised pulse until I get back... not so afraid of anything being stolen, but if someone dumped a milkshake in my lid I would be ****** (obviously)

No I never leave it either, but figured I was ok at Easterbrooks in Burlington with a bunch if old people arround. Thank god I didn't leave my iPhone in the ram mount. When I was leaving they being very aggressive, eyeing my phone and bike. But it was two against one, so I got out of there.

I kinda wish now that I had confronted them, and called the cops right then. Oh well, Can't change that now.

Guess I'm buying another one. :(

Sad to say it, and it sucks, but you could have prevented it. I live in small communities and even then I don't trust my stuff not to be touched. Helmet and tank bag always come inside with me.
 
I think if anything they will buy a base unit and keep it for themselves . . . #$%^er indeed. Sorry this happened =/ I always dread this myself

Alright, a pair comes out to $250 a piece from radio world, they are the cheapest around. You need one with the boom, or the corded mike (snowmobile version). I already have the corded one, but the base is still on the helmet so I'm cool with getting the boom mike version if thats what you need.
