Security camera is still up. They completely stole the speed camera this time. They dragged it to a waiting vehicle and left with it.

Letter of the law I think they can set it at one over. I don't know of a municipality that has officially disclosed the threshold. They all argue privacy to avoid releasing that. In practice, I think at least the vast majority (and maybe all) are setting threshold at ~10 km/h over.
 
Southbound East Mall near Dundas, pole for the speed camera is cut down and the camera is gone.
 
Town of Georgina is in the process of installing a bunch of these. The posts are up, and the signs in place but the cameras aren't mounted yet.
 
These cameras have been quite lucrative for city’s and townships
 
Parkside camera is still missing. Another trip completed without seeing a single pedestrian on parkside drive. I think they should paint Helen Lovejoy on all speed cameras. That is about the appropriate level of fear-mongering used to justify their fundraising efforts.

 
Wife just got her first camera ticket. Wellington County. 40 zone through town. Ticket for 52. Co worker of mine lives on a side road is Essa. 60 zone with new cameras coming soon. No reason for it. No school. Nothing special. Was 80 a few years ago.
 
The one I mentioned in Essa is probably not about speed directly. Probably more about detering Honda plant employees from using this particular road because locals don't like it. F em

Please let us know which Essa Sideroad this is. I've ridden through this area many times and have never seen a camera.

I'm fully expecting Mono Council to declare Hockley Road a community safety zone and stick cameras in the newly created 50 kph areas on either side of Airport Road.
