"Sorry, there are no Honda Motorcycle Dealers in Toronto, Ontario." What is going on?

H-Davidson which probably outsells all the Japanese bikes combined by quite an amount also has no Downtown/Toronto location either.

Hmmm....

property in toronto is just too expensive. dealers can save so much $$$ by locating somewhere further.

And then Ready Honda Powerhouse took on other manufacturers.

Actually when I was in there in March of this year, Ready Honda told me they were no longer a "powerhouse" dealer as of March 2012. Feb was the last month they were a powerhouse dealer, they still sell Honda but took on a bunch of other things. They said that while they were generating money and were profitable as a powerhouse dealer they decided that they could make even MORE money by being a multi line dealer so they stepped away from Honda Powerhouse. Apparently they (Honda Canada) were ****** ... hahah

It was Canada-wide. Honda Canada is a separate entity from Honda of America.

One of the mutli-line dealers that Honda bailed out of, was Blackfoot Motorsports in Calgary. Not a wise move.

I was there last week. Nice dealership. Would spend money there.

It was truly a sad day when Ontario Honda closed their doors, as far as my experiences with them, best high performance shop in the city. Great sales staff as well. I too remember Cycle World North, weren't they Nelson Honda before that? I also remember Rodon Sports, for you english fans. Or the Yamaha shop out in Highland Creek area of Scar. I think it was Ernie White Cycles, but I could be wrong.

Nelson Honda was at Dundas and George then moved to Queen and Leslie in
1972.
About 2 years later Nelson opened a second location where Cycleword Superstore
is now.
About a year later he sold the Queen St store to Murray Brown and it became
Ontario Honda.
Nelson then moved his entire operation to Sheppard and about a year later
sold to John Bagby and after a year using the Nelson name it became Cycleworld.
