Smoke show, what's the best way?

So I picked up an FJ1100 the other day and the tires have no miles on them but are 13 yrs old so..... if they are going to the dump anyway I might as well have some fun first.
I have seen lots of smoke shows but never noticed how he was both pulling in the brake lever and twisting the throttle at the same time. 1st gear, high revs and dump the clutch?
I'm sure someone has perfected the technique so even a squeaky clean rider like myself can look like a BadBoy with a bit of practice. I'll post the video once I'm sure I don't look
too much like a tool.
