Hi,

I have a 05 ZX6R with a Yoshimura exhaust and ClearAlternatives Integrated Taillight (both turn and brake).

I am registered for the Sheridan Oakville M2 Exit course in October, and am planning on riding up to ask the instructors if my exhaust sound/taillight is acceptable.

Just wanted to see if anyone on the forums have had similar issues too, and can chime in.

Thanks

If the MTO doesn't mind, i dont see why Sheridan M2 Exit would mind.

As long as your signals are clearly visible from 30m back you'll be fine.

I forget the exact db lever that is accepted at Sheridan.
I believe it is 95 at idle and 101 at 1,5000 rpm.

Signals may be an issue, but I doubt it, I can check and get back to you tomorrow.

there are many reports of people doing testing at the st. catharines MTO where they would take a tape measure to the signals to check the distance. it will vary person to person

I have been told that intigrated turn signals are OK, as long as the instructor can tell what direction you are turning.
But they all hate them. It's a safety issue. Why would you install something that makes you less safe?

Why else? you look bauws.

If they do refuse...couldn't one just do hand signals? After all it is in the official book.

Yes, that is the answer.
But you would have to do every turn on the course.
That would not be easy.
