It looks like the new Shark helmets are finally making their way into the Yamaha dealers. Kahuna had this one on the floor yesterday:

This is the Race-R, price was about $600, I don't recall exactly. Another version known as the Race-R Pro is very similar, but has a spoiler at the back and is about 200 grams lighter, for a lot more dough. I don't know if the Pro will be coming to Canada, though.

The Race-R is loaded with features, comes in a couple of solids and many graphics.

This might be my next lid. I hope the Yamaha dealers are able to get all the different sizes and graphics.

Has anyone tried one out yet?
 
No interest, huh? I thought the SS crowd would be all over this one.
 
I'm looking for the SPEED-R series. Hopefully a local dealer will have them.. ? Any news?

Yep, Speed R looks like the one to get. Why get the race when you can get nearly the same tech WITH a drop down visor.
That said, I LOVE my RSR 2.
 
I just picked up the Race R-PRO from the states. It's waiting the local shoppers right now. Can't wait to try it on. I bought it without trying it on or anything. However, I wore nothing buy shark helmets for the past 10 yrs, so I have complete trust in their fit and finish. I bought this for pure track purpose and will be at the track later this month. I'll let you guys know how it performs.
 
I'd like to hear how it fits compared to the RSR2. I've looked at everything in the same price range and not found one I like as much as my RSR2. If they fit similar I'm in for another Shark.
