Saturday September 17th - DUCATI Day Ride (DDR) ver 3.0
Well the people have voted.... long before "WOOT" came along and blew the online poll out of the water.... the majority vote goes to Saturday Sept 17th for DDR ver 3.0
Like ducatigio mentioned, we will be meeting at the Tim Hortons in Brooklin (5939 Baldwin St., corner of Winchester and Baldwin) at 9:00 and departing at 9:30 SHARP.
I cannot stress enough that our departure must be on time as we have a FULL day of riding ahead of us to get to our planned destination points, with shorter daylight hours compared to our previous rides. We're truly sorry if you show up and do not find us waiting for you (please arrive early to avoid disappointment)
Unfortunately, we have since lost the list of committed riders that responded to the online voting poll (due to the "WOOT" glitch), however I believe our last count was at approx. 28 riders. This time around, I would like to break up the group into smaller 'pods' of about 10 riders, each with their own "Lead" rider and "Rear Sweep" rider. That being said, we will need 3 (three) Leads and 3 (three) Rear Sweep riders. ducatigio and I can certainly fill two of those roles, therefore we need 4 (four) more volunteers. Those who volunteer will get access to the planned route before the day of the ride for familiarization. Please reply to this thread or send me a private message to express your interest (I will distribute the route to the first 4 volunteers)
I will try to start the list once again, starting with myself (please include your bike model):
1. Repooc (Monster 695) LEAD
2. ducatigio (749) SWEEP
3. lennay1031 (Monster 696)
4. Boreas (Monster 696)
5. webb70 (1098)
6. DucatiDan (?)
7. mjocanada (?)
8. donzo (?)
9. acto (?)
10. Osiris (Monster 696) LEAD
11. DinoZ (1098 Tricolore)
12. mjocanada (Monster 1100S)
13. cheekeebandito (Monster S4R)
14. cheekeebandito +1 (1098)
15. cheekeebandito +2 (Monster S2R 800)
16. tchen (Monster 696)
17. Osiris +1 (?)
18. tiki_turtle (RC51?)
Thanks again for your interest, and lets look forward to making this DDR the best one yet.
