Sell my bike stock or modded?

I'm thinking of selling my 2011 Ninja 1000. I have spent close to $2000 on it this summer in mods, should I demod it before posting it for sale or sell it as it sits?

I agree that you don't get the prices out of your mods either way. Maybe you could get a bit more for them sold individually, but there is generally more hassle involved. If you don't mind putting in a bit of work in probably your best deal.

When buying a used bike I definitely look at the mod list. Not sure how difficult selling your particular bike is but but some mods can make it more attractive to buyers. Of course some people prefer stock so go figure.

Only thing worth while selling apart would be the pipe (and the tidy tail if it causes the bike to fail safety).

Probably the whole range of R&G stuff, e.g. frame sliders, fork sliders, bar-end sliders, maybe the case protectors, etc

Moving up? A moded 2011 ninja 1000 to what? Perhaps a 2012 ZX-14R "will be the fastest accelerating motorcycle in production and that it has the most powerful production motorcycle engine ever built"
