Safety on a bike with an modd'd exhaust

Hey all,

I bought a bike with a modd'd exhaust and didn't come across to me until now. It's a '11 CBR250 with a Leo Vince Corsa slip on. Will I have any trouble getting a safety cert for this bike?

It would pass safety. Bikes dont have emission test like cars. Safety test is all about tires, brakes, frame and light. Are you in TO?
 
Yes Im in Toronto

The bike was dropped mildly from a standstill by previous owner but it looks mint. Bike only has 4000kms on it. Tires, brakes, and lights are good (I've upgraded to LED rear taillights and HID Projector retrofit in the front). I think the frame should be okay.
 
Go to Rosey toes. Google it. $40/ test and hes very honest.

Also seems like you dont know much about bikes. Never buy one without safety done by a mechanic of your choice.
 
it won't pass safety with the LED light and HID headlight ... also won't pass safety without the original exhaust

I'll buy it off you for 2 bucks to ease your troubles in getting rid of it.
 
Exhaust has no impact on safety. Pretty sure a bike with no exhaust pipe at all could still pass safety. I don't think the bike even has to be able to run to pass safety.
