Horrible, mishmash of micro scale theatrics. By that I mean the performances were meant for TV, NOT a great stadium performance well filmed for those who couldn't attend.
The Mr. Bean thing, or the "life of a typical Brit" segment was terrible. It was better to watch it on the jumbo tron then look down from your seats onto the stadium floor. It even had post production graphics as txt captions. Absolutely terrible stage performance, completely inconsiderate of the medium and scale of the setting.
That NHS bed segment was atrocious....20 mins of lit up beds sitting in a corner of the stadium floor with little kids jumping on beds.
Back to the Mr Bean thing....really? A stage like that is the setting for a micro performance...like the facial expressions of a human face?!?! Or worse yet, a video skit of him running on the beach?!?! Not even a projection mind you, no, a cut away to a pre-taped video!!!! And what did the people in the Stadium get to see it on the jumbo tron??? That was rubbish!
