Need to get out for a ride today as medical procedures + ennui keeping me idle.

Okay ride up the Gillies and backdown - had a tasty BLT on turkish bun.
Very busy traffic even on the Gillies - clearly many taking a long weekend at Lake Tinaroo.
120 km round trip.
Only one tailgater going down and he backed off once I waved him to stay back.

Decent audio book on the go but the IEMs I tried left the helmet too noisy. Quite a temperature change climbing up 1200' quickly so some fogging.
If I ride tomorrow will try the C3. I did miss the flip up.

Bingeing Harry Potter series in Blu Ray. Still having issues with the boxed set. 4k still hiccups, regular BR disc is fine.

Was tired from the ride so long arvo snooze past supper time - still a bit sore from angiogram and noisy helmet was tiring tho good audio book.

Off to lunch with relatives. Nice deal on a steak sandwich and really like the place .....lovely marina on the ocean.

Quite a size large steak sandwich and the cook actually nailed the medium rare.
All it wanted was some horseradish but still was a good feed
Slept the rest of arvo away - guy that wanted the red gloves dodged.
Watched Harry Potter 3 and crashed out.
Woke and nailed Wordle.
Keeping my no Ai streak rolling and with a birdie !!!


Off to foot doc for minor repair.
Honda tomorrow to fit the risers and sort the chain.

Itchy Boots slogging it in Scottish weather.

Cleared up - risers on but need to be turned around.


Last day for a ride for a while.
Doesn’t seem possible - 30 years ago I walked out on the beach in Hermanus S Africa and saw this.

Felt good to be out on the bike. Not sure on the risers but might work....need a longer ride. Nice to have the throttle lock working.. Very windy so not going far with noisy helmet tho C3 is quieter than the Nolan.
Switched back to the C3 helmet and prefer it - will sell the Nolan helmet and use the proceeds to buy a new visor for the C3.
I may be biased as have not ridden with proper noise suppression. The C3 does a better job passively.

Bit sore from minor surgery - codeine is good

Got broken sleep - stayed up too late wallowing in Federer and rock clips.
Happy with the set up on the deck now ...everything works

and no discomfort from the operation for the first time.
Nice sitting out with the morning sun coming in - good music and lots of media,
