Bumper facia has faded to grey. Before I drop $20 on McQuires Ultimate Black, has anyone used this stuff or have another product known to work?

I tried a lot of snake oil on our Transit Connect fenders - nothing, including McGuires Ultimate lasted more than a couple of months.

What worked? Duplicolor adhesion promoter and Rustoleum semigloss paint. Prep well with a good scrub and degrease, then spray. That looked like the OE finish and was still looking good when we sold the trucks 3 years later.

Is the adhesion promoter available at the likes of CanTire?

Peanut oil. The real stuff, like you find floating on the top of Adams PB. You can drain off and store enough to do your trim a couple of times before you mix it in to the peanuts according to the instructions. I used it on the trim of my Rallye Golf. Would give it a touch up before a show. It doesn't last more than a few months (like the expensive snake oil), but is $6ish, it won't harm paint or anything else, and you get a jar of natural PB to eat.

I use Amazon. Canadian tire sell it too, but their inventory on odd products is hit and miss.

It only stays black for weeks, not months. Good if you’re ok with doing several times a year.

Another option is using a heat gun. It takes a while and you can permanently damage trim if you’re too aggressive. Watch yootoob videos for more info.

I like to stick with products that won't go rancid, or attract critters.
303 Aerospace was recommended by a fellow gtam'r. It works a bit better than armour all.

Dont know how comfortable you would be, but using a heat gun will restore it back to it's black color
