On the 'about me' tab of people's profiles I just noticed there's a "Referrals:" but I randomly checked a bunch of people's profiles and everyone had a 0? Hangover from the brief 'reputation experiment'? Or?

Frekeyguy - you've got 1, but how is what I'm curious about. Not how as in "you're a terrible person", but how as in "how is a referral done"

When you are signing up for a new account, part of the information you have to provide is if someone referred you to the site. You just have to put their handle in, can't be done after they sign up.
