Recent M2X guys: How'd you do?

Did my M2X at Conestoga this weekend (thankfully on hot & sunny Saturday instead of retarded-weather Sunday.)

Kind of embarrassed to say I got 4 errors; one for missing a blind-spot check on a right-hand turn and 3 for "traffic check: not look at hazard" in the residential areas.

I definitely cop to the blind-spot check; I recall cursing myself in my helmet after a right I'd believed to have botched (stupid nerves...)

For the traffic checks I'm pretty sure I was looking with my eyes but I wasn't bobbing my head around so the examiner could see (stupid muscle-memory...)

I believe you're allowed to make something like 24 errors (unless you collide with something/someone, fall over, do something dangerous, break the law or are completely incompetent); still displeased with 4 errors though :(

So how'd others do?

Did my m2x last year in october. Did it in an area i didnt know (Downsview)...lost a few points...

one for following too closely (bad habit from bumper to bumper traffic to downtown core)
one for too quick of a lane change
another one for forgetting to keep brake light on when off-ramping...

i think i lost 2 or 3 more but don't remember too well.

Did it last year at Downsview. I got 13 errors, most of them for allegedly not looking at stuff (pffft) and one for not accelerating quickly enough when I was told to (double pffffft).

Did the test in Kitchener as well.
Got 2 demerit points. One was 'cause I signalled too late exiting the expressway, and the other simply because the instructor said "1 demerit doesn't look like I was paying enough attention to your riding, so I'm giving you this as well"...

Didn't particularly care at that point.

6 off when I did mine.

3 for traffic conflict (was stuck in an accident induced traffic jam) only one of which I'm sure of, but the lady was coming over and I was sure as hell getting out of her way; mark of for self preservation .
1 Blind spot,
1 lane position exiting highway,
1 signal on too long after lane change

To be honest, he said pass and that's all I cared to know.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel now too. :)

Did mine in Chatham last year lost some points for not being in the far right of a left turn lane and not checking going threw a intersection. I passed that,s all I cared

Burlington, no errors! Others were obsessing about the route but I preferred to go in blind and treat the route as I would any normal day.

And I thought I did well with only 3 errors.

I remember I got a few errors but can't remember exactly how many or what they were for. I didn't care, all I cared about was that I passed.

Nobody rides that way anyways. I mean how many of you flash your brake light when the speed limit changes from 60 to 50?

I had 2, a too slow and signal for no reason (unknown area pavement went straight and turned, figured better signal). That will be 22 years ago this month, that means I have had a bike licence for over half my life (11/19ths to be exact)

I did not indicate that I was slowing down by tapping the brakes so the vehicle behind me is aware.
I did not keep right after making a left turn at an intersection - I did not receive any instruction for this so I kept riding in the left lane - lol
