Ramps to watch out for - 400-series highways

Which ramps/areas along the 400-series highways (or otherwise) have surprised you, or challenged your skills? Particularly those quick decreasing radius ramps.

As a relatively new rider, I'm looking to practice on/off-ramping (early mornings when there's little traffic). While I know situation-specific judgement and observation will always be paramount, it would be nice to be forewarned about higher-risk areas so I have better preparation of how the actual challenges will look/feel.

Edit: I have had little issues negotiating street turns at moderate-fast traffic speed.

Assume every ramp has fresh gravel spilled at the worst possible spot, ride accordingly.

427 south getting off at eglinton. Two bumps right in the middle of the corner, will make you get up close and personal with the guard rail if you decide to do it at moto gp pace ;)

427 north to 409. Decreasing radius. You have been warned.

One of the best ones would be 401 west to islington south. 401 east islington north.

BTW ramps are not race tracks and you should probably save the cornering for the track :)

+1 and oil spills
DVD ramps are pretty much just one big loop, careful with ramps that's where alot of fatalities happen.
 
The hurontario/410/courtneypark ramps in Mississauga are pretty good for practise. There's some around the airport too if I remember. Great to finish off a ride before people part ways.

take a track day if you're concerned about highway ramps
 
I can't remember which on-ramp, but it was on the DVP, It started out wide and got really narrow real quick.
All I can think of was oh ****, push the ****ing bars!!!!!
Managed to get away from it, ironically, I lowsided later on in the evening. :(
 
Northbound Kennedy to westbound 401 in Scarborough has a decreasing radius at the end when you expect to accelerate out of the turn. I don't do it that often, so it sometimes catches me by surprise.

Westbound 401 to Yorkdale Rd has a nice 270 degree right, a short straight, then a sharp 170 degree right, another short straight then Yorkdale has a nice 80 degree left going across the top of the mall. Hitting that without traffic is a blast.
 
QEW westbound, Islington South exit. Nothing technical about the ramp, it's nice and flat. Except, it's blind as hell. I once almost ran into a tracker trailer that was backing up to the highway.
 
Not 400 series but Bayview / DVP north or south.

However I also do not advocate playing on ramps, dangerous areas with few escape routes.

ahh sorry i was thinking highway to highwaqy, not road to highway.

queensway (west mall) has onto QEW west and its not bad at all., but nothing to go east there.

i havent used the queensway ramps ever on the other side of sherway gardins.

the dundass 427 ramps suck... i punctured a gas tank on my car on them once..
