Having issues removing the seat of my R6

Bought it this year and haven't removed it since

There are two bolts that fasten at the back

I can remove one with no issues

The other one comes up a bit but then just turns - doesn't go up or down

You need to cut the head off the bolt that won't come out the rivnut has stripped and will need replaced

The bolt is cross threaded and spinning the thread insert. Cut the head off with a hacksaw as mentioned and pull the thread insert out. See if you can replace with a normal M8 nut and bolt w/lock washer (for vibration).

finally i see what its supposed to look like, the guy before mine replaced it with 10mm, although i cant complain it does do the job. incase you wanted to replace it with something else a 10mm will fit

Yup sounds like the threads are f'd. With a flat screwdriver under the head of the screw try to apply upward pressure as you unscrew it.
