Push Fasteners from Home Depot?

Does anyone know if Home Depot carries fasteners like these? I seem to have lost two and want my GSXR fairings to remain happy. I've heard Home Depot does carry these so I'm looking for people with experience/insight into this question.

I hate those things...just replace them with zip ties

Haha, I was thinking the exact same thing! Well, I should clarify. I don't hate them, I kind of like them. They're innovative. But I was thinking of using zip ties in the meanwhile.

What exactly do I search for on bikebandit.com to find them? I don't know their proper name to look the bloody things up. PartSource is starting to sound like a good idea, though.

partsourace and autozone and places like that have at least 20 different types so if I were you I would bring an extra one or the bike with you so you can get the right sized ones.

Last time I was at Lowe's, I saw they had two or three different sizes of'em.

I should stock up as well.

This is excellent. I had never seen these anywhere before, outside of my bike. That you all tell me they're easily available at these big box places pleases me. Much like how Darth Vader might have been pleased if someone informed him they found a critical design flaw in the Death Star's exhaust ports and patched it all up before some n00b kid could have ruined everything.

Just a thought, you may want to go for something less self destructing.

I hate plastic fasteners (maybe I'm just a caveman when disassembling ****).

Hmm, these I like, too. Where can I get them and how much are they?

Kahuna has a few different sized 'kits' with those and a nice selection of other special fasteners for bikes.

Slightly overpriced, but they do nicely match the existing bits.

Not sure about these exact ones but Canadian Tire sells a variety of plastic fasteners in small quantities. You'll find them in the auto section.

^ + 1 for Canadian tire. You can also try ebay, type "fairing rivet".

Thanks, guys.

Hey, I just got a RD catalog in the mail and they have the rivets your looking for in the atv section. I don't know if this pic will show up but it's on page 224 of their 2012 spring/fall edition
