Protect your life!!

There was a story on w5 or fifth estate where doctors decide if you are worth their effort or not.

Too true.
This Thursday will be the 4th year since my Father's passing.
He had a bleed in his brain and collapsed up in the Bruce Peninsula. He had was shuttled from one small hospital to another with a CAT scan.
Docs administered CAT scan, and proceeded to call 3 hospitals with advanced neurology wards. All 3 turned him down until they had another scan 20 minutes later so they could see the progression of the bleed. 20 minutes later, all 3 turned him down again. The doc in the hospital my father was in managed to get a hold of one of his friends who owed him a favour in a Neurology ward. After pleading, the favour was called in.
All the dickering around and the fact that a thunderstorm prevented a helicopter flight ended up being the most devastating night of my life.

Since when is a wife or a doctor GOD

the moment you put someone on life support, you are, in eseense, playing God.
you are taking away God's choice for your life to end. (religious people, i know theres more to it, its not a religious discussion)

stop posting OP.

In this situation, he was not on life support when the accident happened. As standard procedure the ambulance likely attached him to some equipement. The ambulance shuffled him from one hospitol to another because they were assessing the situation. Ultimately they assessed he required surgery which for whatever reason was not done. In stead they opted to cut the life support and leave him to his injuries. He lasted 4 hours after life support was cut. He died because they refused to do the surgery and they deprived him the necessities of life. He was condemned to death by decisions made by others. Doing this was as act of GOD in deciding who should live and die. One of the commandments shall not kill. This was an act of murder in my book.

I suggest you heed your own advice and STFU.

Knowledge and Science...pfft who needs that.
It's funny but all these God will save me types tend to take drugs for ailments...hmmm
I was wanting to know if this super power God made man then by default everything that man creates comes from God meaning God is giving you the tools and knowledge to survive.

Well since its all make believe, you can make up anything you want. Once you bring imaginary beings into the equation, logic and rational thinking go out the window.

You make some valid points. In essence an incapacitated person is not unlike an infant in that they will die unless they receive attention. However it doesn't, to my understanding, meet the legal definition of murder. It's hard to debate an issue when one side makes up their own definitions.
Re: Thou shalt not kill. English is a living language with definitions changing with usage. A century ago saying someone was gay meant that they were happy and outgoing. Today it almost always means that they are homosexual.
Similarly the meaning of the word kill has changed over the centuries. Old translations of the Bible used the word "Kill" where today they would use the term "Commit murder" ie Thou shalt not commit murder. The word "Slay" was used back then to define the act of a hunter dispatching a deer where today we use the word "Kill". PETA and the likes may use the word murder to provoke emotions.

what do you know about brain injury/neurosurgery? what was the diagnosis the guy had? surgery does not mean it will magically fix anything.
