Has anybody done the ferry from Prince Edward Island to Îles de la Madeleine?
Are there any tie-down points?
I have done the Victoria to Port Angeles ferry and it was a rough trip but they had tie down points.

I haven't but I would assume there are tie down points of some sort.

I sent a message to RottenRonnie on PEI.

I have not either, but I know someone who has.

I’d suggest they do have tie down rings, all the major ferries do. But I would also bring my own strap or some really strong non stretching cord.

The Chi-cheemaun of the Tobermory to South Bay mouth run will hand you a length of hemp cord if you didn't bring decent tie downs. ( Luckily some trucker happened by and tied the Wing up good with it) Brought straps next time.

I recall the ferry from Richmond over to Victoria didn’t require tie downs and might have even had tie down points. I just used a wheel chock and the kickstand, likely since the boats are very large, slow and gentle.

Yeah, most of the BC Ferries only use chocks.

High clearance vehicles sometimes need more than one...

The struggle is real! :ROFLMAO:

(before anyone criticizes me for using three instead of two, a ferry worker looked at my initial two chock setup and said, "yeah, that's not gonna stay" and kicked a third one over to brace the second one from slipping out)
