So the oil furnace at my tenants place ran dry and now it is not pumping out any heat. This happened once before and it was due to an air pocket in the line from the oil tank to the furnace. It is friday night and I don't want to pay some guy $200 to basically suck the bubble out of the line through the bleeder valve if I can avoid it. I shut off the furnace and opened the bleeder valve and nothing happened so I need some way to suck out the oil to get it flowing to the furnace again. Any one ever do this or have any idea how I can do this??? The line from the furnace is long and up high to giving it mouth to mouth is not going to work.
