possible front stand issue

hi all,

just bought some front stands and propped up the bike.

i've noticed that the front of the forks sits on the stands but thats it...theres a gap that gets larger (like 10mm maybe) as you move to the back of the forks.

looks somewhat like <

there was a bolt that came with it that goes into the fork...that went in okay. had to loosen/tighten to get it on there and there is a tiny gap on one side still.

this okay? the bike wont move when i shake it but it just doesn't look right.

no way to bend the stand either.

its the yellow ones for 100 from royal.

I'm going to have a guess and say you are talking about the front stands with the bolt that fits into the bottom of the forks.

If that's the case, the stand doesn't need to be flat against the bottom of the fork. The bolt is fit into the bottom and everything is solid, don't worry about it.
