Portable battery charger

Does anyone in GTA have a portable battery charger to hook up to a dead motorcycle battery I can borrow? Can't use a standard one as we don't have sockets in our condo parking.

Asking for a friend. 😊

On that note, what level of the parking garage are you on? Rolling down a ramp is a lot easier than run and jump on.

EDIT:
IIRC, he has a scooter with CVT. If that's the case, I don't think a bump start works.
Not for me.. It's for a friend--ninja 300. Hasn't been turned on in 2 years apparently.

I would put money on the bike will need a new battery if it has been dead that long.
Is the parking heated?
Then there will be the issue of stale gas.

Yep, it's very likely that the gas and battery need to be swapped. If the thing starts up, they are planning to sell it too. I'll update here on what's what.

Take a volt meter to it first and check if it’s even worth trying.

I’m sure someone here can say ‘if it’s below X volts it won’t fire up ever again’.

I wouldnt bother. With the new info, I would pull the battery. Properly charge it and load test it before I worry about the bike. Even if a lithium pack jump started it, the poor tiny charging system on a 300 trying to bring a battery back from zero is unwise when there are other easy options.

More a function of how long it's been sitting dead rather than the current voltage reading.

Deep sulfation sets in over time. If a battery's only been dead for a few days, it can probably be revived. If it's been sitting dead for two years, then yeah, then it's a trip to the motorcycle store.

Too save you the hassle of dealing with all the A-holes on Marketplace that are going to low-ball the price I will offer $300.00 as is!
