Police Responded

Can someone provide a valid reason why this post could not stay.
It seems like the rights of what appears to be a shady person at the least is/was being protected?
And it turned out they are full blown criminal.

-starting a witch hunt thread for "suspected" bike thieves with peoples names and photos

did you guys actually see any of his comments? they made my brain hurt, I'm glad the threads are gone. If the police are interested in the photos from the kijiji ad, they can contact him directly. or kijiji, you know, because they're the police.

I think motorcycle forums should have more of this.

If this board had more of this, I would tend to visit more often.

If it had a lot of this, I would never leave.

Remember the good old days in GTAM's infancy?

I'm with you, but there has to be a disclaimer and entry password. Call it the Bearpit or something, because you'll really need a thick skin to survive in there. Remember, this is not the internet of 18 years ago with unmitigated free speech. The law has cracked down on what happens online and websites have been shut down for what they let slide by (nude pics of my last girlfriend, late night drag race place your bets, "why I don't like [insert race here] thread", "Help me crash this guy's website" etc., etc., etc.)

There's not much that hasn't been done already on the net.
 
The place you long for is called 4chan. It's been around for a while, I think.

This stuff still exists. GTAM would not get shut down by this kind of stuff unless the entire website represents something highly illegal like kiddy porn. And as someone else said, 4chan. Even reddit has fairly racist/sexist subreddits.

And if you REALLY want to get into illegal stuff, including assassination contracts, kiddie pr0n, etc. etc. look into the "dark/deep web". You can't access it via popular browsers unless you want to get hacked. It's also highly (required) to use a VPN or proxy unless you want the government officials knocking on your door.

Can't help thinking how helpful a camera that is triggered by motion to send instant stills to an email or text number would be. Having that instant evidence would help stop a lot of these thieves. If they didn't realize it, pictures would continue being snapped as they're tearing down the bike.

More than ever...what bike should I get, which oil, insurance companies are best, can I get rid of the winter air in my tyres. what type of anything should I do.. should I do this... should I do that. wtf is a sticky. Yes humour never stops, thank goodness.
