Passed M license test this afternoon with RTI

I did mine through RTI because I didn't want to wait for an appointment with the ministry or something like that, I think this was when they were on strike.

I could have passed it regardless, but it never hurts to brush off some bad habits that we all accumulate.

I passed through the MTO at the Downsview office. I don't see how anyone can fail the test if they ride regularly after their M2

I also had 20 years super experience in riding motorcross bikes and I still failed the "M" exam... while a dumb-looking young girl ahead of me passed the exam and she looked like an amateur. If you are aggressive at riding you will fail no matter how good you are, but if you suck but follow the rules of the handbook you'll pass.

So just out of curiosity, what exactly did this "dumb-girl" look like?

Ps, 20-30 year ago passing a motorcycle license was quite different from now so I can see as to how some older experienced riders would fail. I personally only got one point for not emphasizing my view of a fire hall.

Pps, I loved RTI. What a great group of people. Hey are barb and maxin(spl?) still there.

Holly smokes.... guys.... I didn't mean to start a war here...
I just wanted to share my experience with you... :)

Even though I believe I would pass the MTO exam without taking the course, I do not regret taking it.
It was a super awesome day of riding with a small group of people and the instructor who later in the day was testing us.

I'm not perfect, and I definitely appreciated the feedback I got from the instructor... (i.e. checking the intersection after you pass it, brake light on when slowing down even when engine braking etc - and that would be quite few points during the exam)

Anyway, long story short... no more riding tests for me :)

Have a good one people :)

Congrats OP! It doesn't matter whether you take the course or not. That's your choice and no one should feel bad about the decisions that give them peace of mind. Regardless of what others think.
