Parking in Woodbine Beach?

I always go to woodbine beach in Toronto atleast once every weekend because I find it so relaxing just sitting by the rocks and watching the day turn into night. I usually go on my bike and I've never had any issues. Went last night on my cage and got a $105 ticket. I went around 2am and was back at around 3 30am. I wasnt sure if a paid parking is enforced at those hours, so it was my fault. But I've never gotten a ticket on my bike. Is bike parking free there or have I just been lucky?

a $105 ticket will not be for not putting money in the meter. you must have parked not in a spot or in front of a hydrant or something.

Parking is free for motorcycles on city streets where you need to purchase a ticket (ie: Queen street near the Beach). However when you park on side streets there is a parking permit required during the hours of 12am-7am (or 2am-7am whichever) in the City of Toronto and then you can be fined. A guy near my neighborhood has an older cafe racer Honda CB and I've seen him get tickets overnight on the side streets.
