Pacific mall area riding. obstacle course

So I just finished installing bar end mirrors on my bike, and changed the turn signals, and realized one or two bulbs were burnt. (CBR 3rd eye). So I figure today's weather isn't terrible. Let's go pick up some bulbs at Pacific Mall. (Worst idea ever.) Hit the 401 from Lawrence/Black Creek, pretty good drivers thus far. Upon merging onto the expressway just past yonge, cager nearly takes me out merging into the right lane without checking blindspots. Honk for 3 seconds until she sees me. No problems going up the DVP and to Steeles. Make a right. Get to Warden, red light. Light goes green. Not even 3 seconds later a car merges into me. I get to Kennedy and see there's a ******** of people, so I decide to just leave and go another day. Turn right at Kennedy and proceed south. No problems thus far. Get to finch. Red light. ****ing BMW cager stops 15cm behind me. I lay the horn on him for a good 30 seconds. And give him the deathstare. Light turns green. I change lanes to the right to pass all these cars and to get away from him. 5 seconds later this ********* speeds past me and cuts me off and brake checks me. Next red light I give him an earfull and ride off. Guy stared at Never riding in that area again on a weekend. Terrible.
Safe to say I got home and out of the area alive though.

Yeah way too many bad drivers out there. I wonder how all these clowns got their licenses?


Try riding in Brampton. It's a lot worst. I had a cager turn left on me today. He saw me late and came to a complete stop in the middle of the road. Lucky I had room on the right to swerve by. The closest incident was when i was at a red light. Light turns green i do a slow take off and this moron decides he was going to run a LATE LATE red light and almost takes out the car beside me and me. If I had did a quick take off I would probably be dead. This is one thing i learned about riding/driving in brampton watch out when going through intersections. They love to run the RED especially during the mornings and at night.

I've ridden in Brampton plenty of times.... Trust me... Just the block around pacific mall is a lot worse than Brampton... I'm even scared to drive in that area especially during the weekends.

theres so many bad drivers out there, but im amazed at how many stupid riders continuing to ride next to, or close to (the other driver) so as to make a point (yell at, flash highs, etc).

you recognized he was a hazard, move away.

I gave him an earfull cause it was a red light.

OP, definitely CSB! 30 seconds on the horn is AWESOME!!! Why not 3 minutes? If you'll keep riding like 'you're always right' (even if you are), our awesome cage drivers will get even more chances to take you out.

Cagers gotta realize we exist on the road. If we don't make a stand for ourselves they'll never be aware.
 
LOL stay away from Pmall and that area unless you got time and patience to deal with drivers.
It's worst when it's raining.

Yeah, I see, so pumping your horns for prolonged periods of time will get your point across? I'm laughing even harder. All you will do is enrage the cager even more.

maybe the issue is with you. If you didn't lay on the horn for 30sec maybe you wouldn't have gotten a brake check.

I'd rather cagers feel something for me, even if it is hate, to know my existence.

I was at Pmall yesterday..whole effing parking lot was packed full. Sat a the light from Steeles onto Kennedy and saw the light change 6 times before I go.
